Abdera was a major Greek city found on the coast of Thrace. The city was located at about seventeen kilometers east- northeast of the mouth of River Nestos. In present days, Abdera is located in the Xanthi regional unit of Thrace in Greece. The city has an approximate population of over 19,000 people. Below the location of the city of Abdera.
